Things you forget until you move home
- You own way more crap then you think you do.
- Setting up your PC again is a complete and utter nightmare (Why oh why don’t we have wireless power yet?).
- You should have just hired a removal truck.
- You keep tons and tons of stuff that you don’t need (I threw out 14 bin bags of “it may come in useful” stuff from a tiny 2 bed apartment).
- You have enough USB cables, don’t bother collecting them “just in case”.
- You don’t need all that handy stuff in your knife & fork drawer.
- You should have labelled those power cables.
- Houses have way more spiders then apartments (they’re bigger, meaner and hairier too; I’m pretty sure the one I threw out earlier was tattooed).
I recently moved country, I swear i got rid of about 90% of everything I owned.
There’s no need to be owned by your possessions.
